Recent Posts List Hack Request
Have received a hack request that I thought I would share. Is there a way to take the "10 most recent posts" list & hack it so that it displays the 10 most recent posts to a blog on every page of that blog, rather than the default / conditional "10 posts before the newest one you're looking at"?

Just askin'....

The best way I can think of would be to use feeddigest and your (hopefully RSS with feedburner) feed.

It's not quite what you're looking for, but Feedburner will create a GIF that has a rotating list of current titles. The GIF has a static address so that every place that displays it always show the current information. Here's the one Cyclelicio.us. The problem with this is that the link is to the blog's home page rather than seperate links for each article.

While somewhat silly from an overall perspective (where usually it would be most trivial to implement something like this server side), this would be a rather simplistic AJAX hack.

Someplace here I found a hack that, rather than just ten, lets me list all posts on my main page in the sidebar.

It works great.

I'm supposed to ba able to do that for the archive pages also.

How do I access the html code for the archive pages?

Is there a "univesal" hack that would change archive pages as they are automatically created each month?

Thanks in advance for your help.
