Great looking category hack from A Consuming Experience. You might have seen the slick categories in the sidebar over there and wondered how to get something similar for your blog... Well now you can. The code is available in full with examples and detailed directions. On the upside, it looks great. On the downside, this is a manual method that requires a template edit to add a post.... but if you're an infrequent poster, want to keep your categories for just your best stuff, or if you'd like your sidebar to look very slick indeed, this is the way to go.
