Now that team blogs are able to make the transition to Beta, my Google interface has a couple of new and highly suggestive arm-twists to encourage the move... Are these new, or just new to me?
I've been nagged by Blogger with these messages for the last month or so. Although from what I've read the Beta looks good it still means a load of fiddling around to get the template to look the same and the fact that when you revert you can't change back means for me personally it's not been top of the 'to do' pile. One day maybe I'll get time to try it out ...
I changed my account over but not the template. I'm hoping I wont be forced to change the template until all the bells and whistles are working for beta or there are least some similar add ons. Still not sure if i want to go with labels or the delicious category setup I'm using now.
I made the switch a couple of weeks ago, and I really did not want to switch. But since everyone eventually has to, I figure I would leap.
I have been impressed with the transition actually. I have a fairly large blog (nearly 400 posts and a lot of comments), and everything seems okay now.
You can keep the old template, but I have been transferring to the new layouts it uses. It is a bit different, but I can still do a little html, when needed.
I had no problem with the move and I've kept my old template. There doesn't seem to be a big nag about changing that. Some of the features really are much nicer. :) Liz
